Never use this vet. Or at least check around beforehand. Especially check prices. I didn't do that and it cost me dearly.I sincerely believe these guys harmed my animal for profit. I needed my dogs teeth cleaned but to get an estimate of what that would cost I had to make an appointment ($$$$). I've since learned that any other vet will give you this info over the phone without ever looking at your dog. at the visit they informed me that it would be between $275 - $350. And if they had to pull a tooth it would be a couple of hundred dollars more. They examined his teeth at the initial visit and said they were in perfect condition except they needed cleaning. A week later I dropped him off and a few hours later they called and said that one of his teeth was split down the middle and was just hanging by the gum. I automatically went into panic mode and told them of course they could pull it. They also told me during the first visit that while the dog was out they clip their nails and clean the ears out. Well they did neither. I called them to thank them for charging me double ($600) and lying about the cleaning his ears and clipping nails. The vet straight out lied to me and said she watched another person do both tasks. Anyone who isn't blind can look and see that the dogs nails weren't clipped in about a month. I no longer trusted this vet so the next week i took him to the ARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL in boiling springs and they looked him and his mouth over to give me piece of mind and didn't charge me a dime. And by the way, to clean a dogs teeth at the ARK, its $125 and that includes pulling teeth if need be. I should have never left my dog in the care of a greedy vet who profits from damaging perfectly good animals. In fact I'm surprised he has any teeth left after being in their care. I mean at $200 a tooth I'm surprised they didn't tell me he needed 4 or 5 pulled. I would give 0 stars but it won't let you post comment.
I've been a customer for over 6 months now. When I drop my girl off they know her by name and they just make over her like she's their own. I love being able to take her someplace safe to play and be active and also being able to go inside for ac while it's so hot and I'm not at home. I can have my baby boarded, see their vet, and groomed all in one location. You can watch you fur baby from their monitors on your phone. As soon as my puppy is old enough he's joining in the fun as well. Check out creature comforts at home for those of you that have puppies that can't go yet or you just want someone to come check on your dog at home. I absolutely love the staff and the pricing is what I have expected. I'm worked in when I need to be and when making an appointment it's usually the week I call. If your still not sold go check it out for yourself. It's an amazing dog paradise.
Brought my tabby cat to get checked out for what I thought would be a viral infection. They answered the phone promptly to schedule my visit. Same day too! When we walked in the door the folks at the desk were super sweet and friendly to my little guy. We were taken back almost immediately, and helped as soon as we got to the room. Dr. Rogers was great at explaining what she thought the problem was and we were out of there in less than an hour, and paid less than $100 for the visit and a shot. Great experience! Would definitely recommend!! No complaints!
We're changing vets. Visited them a couple months back for a check-up and shots. Now we try to order heart worm meds online and they want us to come in for an exam. Sorry, I don't have to bring my dog in to get a check up just to order heart worm meds. If I had to bring my dog to the vet every 2 months just to get heart guard I would be in the poor house.
This staff is absolutely wonderful. We take our dog here and they've always taken great care of her. Recently they allowed me and my homeschool group to take a small tour of their facility and it was great! They take animal health very seriously. The most impressive thing to me was how they use hospital quality air filtration to make sure your pets are as healthy as possible! This is definitely my vet of choice.
I like the vet there but they're trying to squeeze every penny out of their customers by requiring needless office visits that they're going to charge you for.
